This Privacy Policy explains how MYALEXAI collects, uses, discloses, stores, and deletes personal information when you use myalexai.com and related services.

By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

MYALEXAI is operated by Alex Afanasiev. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@myalexai.com.

Account information: name and email address that you provide when you create an account or contact support.

Service usage information: request counts, subscription status, account settings, and limited technical records needed to operate the Service.

Image uploads: if you upload an image or screenshot, the file may be temporarily processed for OCR or feature support. Uploaded image files are intended to be deleted within one day.

Analytics and technical data: MYALEXAI uses Vercel Analytics to measure site performance and usage trends. This may include IP address-derived information, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and device or network metadata.

Payment information: Stripe processes payments. MYALEXAI receives payment-related records such as payment status, product purchased, renewal status, and limited billing identifiers, but does not store your full card number.

MYALEXAI does not currently store chat logs as part of its normal product design. If this practice changes in the future to improve the Service or train product features, MYALEXAI will update this Privacy Policy before or when that change takes effect.

MYALEXAI does not intentionally use advertising cookies, and the Service is intended to operate without a cookie banner at launch.

MYALEXAI uses personal information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide the Service, enforce request limits, process purchases, send transactional emails, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability and performance.

Uploaded images are used only for short-term feature processing, such as OCR-related analysis, and not for long-term storage as part of the user account history unless MYALEXAI later changes the product and updates this Privacy Policy.

MYALEXAI may use de-identified, aggregated, or operational data to understand product performance, capacity, failures, and usage trends.

MYALEXAI is based in the United States and offers the Service worldwide. Depending on your location, local law may provide specific privacy rights or require a particular legal basis for processing.

In general, MYALEXAI processes information as needed to perform its contract with you, protect legitimate business interests such as security and service operation, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, obtain consent.

MYALEXAI shares information only as reasonably necessary to run the Service, including with Vercel for hosting and analytics, Supabase for database and backend infrastructure, Grok/xAI for AI processing, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for payment processing.

MYALEXAI may also disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of the Terms of Service.

MYALEXAI does not sell personal information for money.

Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for security, fraud prevention, payment records, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and backup recovery.

Uploaded images are intended to be deleted within one day.

If you delete your account, MYALEXAI will delete or de-identify your personal information and saved history associated with that account within a reasonable period, except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, billing records, security, fraud prevention, or backup restoration windows.

You may access, update, or delete your account information through the Service where those features are available, or by contacting support@myalexai.com.

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues through the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or restriction. MYALEXAI will evaluate and respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and MYALEXAI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If MYALEXAI learns that such information was collected, it will take reasonable steps to delete it.

MYALEXAI uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and MYALEXAI cannot guarantee absolute security.

Because the Service is operated from the United States and uses service providers that may process data in multiple countries, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries other than your own. By using the Service, you understand that these transfers may occur, subject to applicable law.

MYALEXAI is designed to launch without its own advertising cookies. If the Service later begins using cookies or similar tracking technologies beyond what is strictly necessary or beyond cookieless analytics, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required notice or consent mechanism will be added.

MYALEXAI may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised last updated date. If changes are material, MYALEXAI may provide additional notice through the Service or by email.
